I wait for a lot of things, a lot of the time. Waiting costs me a lot of time, and by the time I’ve “arrived”, I discover that I haven’t truly arrived yet. The waiting has a funny way of doing things: seconds pass slowly, days pass quickly, and years with the blink of an eye.
What if I decided to enjoy a visit from the here and now? Tomorrow will come as scheduled, and when today becomes yesterday I don’t want to find it was forgettable.
I want to actively look for the unforgettable moments. They’re out there, hiding in the waiting, begging to be experienced. I hope to compile a memory log, a reflection on the unforgettables of life. Enjoy these attempts at recording the things I don’t want to forget.
